Defender Status is released under the MIT Licence. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute it, provided the copyright notice and permission notice are retained. The full text ships in the repository as LICENSE and applies to both this website and the application.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The authors are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the software or its use. It reads and reports information; it does not modify your security configuration.
Your responsibility
- Run the application only on systems you are authorised to inspect.
- Verify downloads against the published checksums where you care about integrity.
- Treat exported reports as sensitive: they describe the security state of a specific device.
